Starting first day at Yahoo! ...

... with a bad case of fever !
Climate change ? Getting wet in the rain ? Not eating properly last couple of days ?

... in any case, should be one heck of a way to begin a new job :-)
Left Sun on friday, and joining Yahoo! today ... two days later - I really wish I had a break to unwind.

And thanks for all the wishes - appreciate them !

"Nammal"

A batchmate of mine from college, Jishnu, acted in this movie ... and unfortunately, I never got to watch it until now. It was a mixed bag ... parts of it were good, parts of it sucked really bad, and rest were so-so.
Being a college story, the story tends to appeal to a wider audience ... though it looks like a really 'simple' college ! The one aspect where something good could have been done was ruined by shoddy plot.
Jishnu pulls off a credible performance, which is surprisingly considering it was his first movie ... but overall, I was just waiting for the movie to end.

'Wide Awake'

For a PG movie, this movie is one of the best I have seen in recent years ! In retrospect, a relatively 'normal' story - but it totally sucks you into it with some amazing portrayal, and pretty much brilliant story telling.

Only at the end of watching it, I came to know of one more fact - it was written and directed by 'M. Night Shyamalan'. In my book, his best creation to date :-)

Allo Mridul,

Thanx for ALL the comments :) You remain the steadfast visitor to the occasional "'blah' on my blog". Really, thank u - even for the occasional comment reminding that the next post is due. I am like a camel sometimes, once I sit down, I need a bit of a jig done to stand up.

I'll look out for the movie. I have ALL the time to watch it :)

Cheers!
Me.

@vinay
I am sure you will like it :-)
It has a 'wonder years' sort of feel to it ... but very enjoyable.

@vijaya
I enjoy reading your posts, so keep them coming ! And thanks for the thanks ;-)

Satisfaction

... of a job well done, of achieving goals, of leaving things at a much better shape than you started off with - of being able to say : yes I have made a change for the better, and to see visible effects of those efforts.

At the end of the day, this would be every persons dream ...

--
And now I wish this bloody backache will go away ! I have a long week ahead of me, and my back is killing me - natures way of telling me - bad posture is ... bad !

Take care of your back. Once you get a proper backache, it's almost impossible to get back to normal.

Your satisfaction blog was left incomplete due to backache or is it intentional?;-)

@nkv
Yeah, dad was saying the same - and he was pretty smug about it too ... he has been warning me since my childhood about my bad posture !

@amit
It has nothing to do with the visible events which succeeded it :-) I was just rambling !
